I’ve realized a measure of success as an executive and entrepreneur, raised a lot of capital, led productive sales teams, built numerous management teams, and started, grown and sold several profitable businesses. I’ve also been a professional athlete and firefighter/ EMT.
Some mildly interesting footnotes include me co-founding one of the first Alpharetta-based Accelerators where I helped early-stage companies with strategy, capital, and first-or-new customers. Along the way I was named to FORBES Under 40 To Watch, a G2 economics “Coalition Member of the Year”, and Catalyst Magazine Top “50 Entrepreneur”, and “Top 25 Entrepreneur”.
My philanthropic interests include the Prudent Society of Optimistic Gentlemen – a global group business investors, intellectualista’s, and theorists, brians BEANS™, founding Real Men Don’t Text and Drive, and a founding Board Member and Strategy Chair for ROI Ministry. I’m also on the Radford University College of Business and Economics (“COBE”) Board of Advisors. I’m particularly proud of that.
Joanne and I celebrate twenty-seven years of successful marriage. I’m also a proud and deeply involved Dad. Great results include, Haley Anne and Emma Jo. They are beautiful, strong, confident and happy young ladies. One of my focused passions has been coaching them in soccer. Rowdy the world famous Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Hazel, a fierce Yorkshire Terrier are also part of the family. I have also coached Boys Select Feeder Lacrosse for Cambridge and Milton High Schools. If things go as planned, I’ll eventually teach business and economics at the college level, and maybe coach the Lacrosse team.
